Staying with the trouble

Inspired by the paradigm of Donna Haraway’s »Staying with the trouble« Tiroler Künstler:innenschaft curated a programme of art in public space in and around Innsbruck, Austria. Three works interweaving the spheres of humans, plants, animals, minerals and myths can be visited and experienced in a shopping mall, the botanical gardens and the near forest throughout autumn 2021. In our design the algorithm-based and wild-life inspired typeface »Gothic Lab« by Production Type cohabits with the fragile yet explosive »Cheesy Tots« by Erik Sachse defining a common space of uncommon shapes. The identity for the programme was applied to posters, flyers, invitations and signage.
